Ginger Tea

September 5, 2006

Ginger boosts the circulation and helps the body to detoxify. It’s higly antiseptic, activating immunity and dispelling bacterial and viral infections, such as colds, tonsillitis, bronchitis and enteritis. Ginger tea is very good to warm body during cold weather.

Ingredient:

  • Peeled and sliced fresh gingerroot (1 ounce)
  • Water (2-3 cups)
  • Optional: lemon juice, honey

How to:

  • Prepare the ginger tea
    • Option#1 Boil it Put the gingerroot and water into a pan. Bring to boil, cover, lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
    • Option#2 Pour it Put the gingerroot into a glass and pour hot boiling water into it. Cover for 10 minutes. (Well, this way is easier but less effective in bringing out the ginger’s essense)
  • Squeeze in lemon and add honey.

Try brown sugar with ginger! Taste nice. Brown sugar plus ginger help to reduce the gases in your body.
