Drink to reduce insomnia
Some people have problem with sleeping but not me. I usually sleep easily, only occasional insomnia nights. However, I know some people with constant sleeping disorder.
Insomnia is largely caused by stress and tension. So make sure you eat a lot of healthy food to nourish your nervous system. You can help yourself with avoiding stimulants (including sugar, caffeine, smoking, and working) and have some relaxing drinks, such as hot milk and honey, lemon balm, lavender, camomile, or lime flower, before bed time.
A recipe recommended: Camomile and Lime flower tea
- 1 teaspoon of lime flowers
- 1 teaspoon of camomile flowers
- 1 cup of boiling water
- honey, to taste
Place the herbs in a teapot and pour boiling water over. Cover and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Sweeten with honey and sleep well
